Nice to meet you
ABOUT ME
Hi,
I am Celeste, a positive psychology practitioner and an accredited coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I am a member of EMCC and abide by the Global Code of Ethics, as well as I work under supervision. Furthermore, I am a certified SPARK resilience trainer and certified mental health first aider England. In addition to my professional work, I am also a devoted wife and mother of two children. My family and I have been living as expats for the past 14 years, embracing new experiences and cultures along the way. Currently, we are writing our Doha, Qatar chapter.
My goal is to spread positivity and provide support and guidance to individuals until they have reached their chosen destination. Seeing people unlock their full potential, find happiness through purpose and authenticity, and thrive brings great fulfillment and purpose to my work.
I use evidence-based coaching and positive psychology interventions to support clients in improving their mental health. My approach focuses on fostering self-awareness, promoting well-being and a positive mindset, exploring strengths and challenging negative thought patterns. I also aim to empower clients by equipping them with effective coping strategies to navigate life's challenges. Through our work together, I strive to help individuals develop the resilience and skills necessary to thrive in the face of adversity.
I am Chinese Dutch, born and raised in The Netherlands with norms and values from two different cultures. I have had the opportunity to live in six different Eastern and Western countries and to work with people from various cultural backgrounds. This has enabled me to develop a high level of adaptability and resilience to change. My expertise lies in cross cultural coaching and expatriates. My coachees (clients) are from Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Through my experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with living and working in different cultures.
Fun fact: my first career was in the corporate world, working in Insights and Marketing. My second career as a mental health coach is my purpose in life. The corporate experience comes back in my coaching by using various interventions that suits client’s needs, interests, learning style and matches their values. In addition, my corporate background has equipped me with the skills to deliver effective presentations and provide training to groups.
Why the company is called My Inner Resources
When you say "My Inner Resources", it sounds and is powerful. Your inner resources provide you answers, direction, positivity, hope, resilience, growth mindset, mental & physical health, strengths and much more. Coachees will use and explore their inner resources to continue to grow and move towards their chosen destination. Coaching is about YOU, the coachee, and your inner resources.
With positive vibes and gratitude,
Celeste Tang
